@TSA Is it an underlying trend, or discovery bias? Are that many more people leaving guns in their bags, or is the @TSA that much better at finding them? Neither answer is all that reassuring.

The @TSA discovered a record number of firearms in carry-on bags in 2018, more than 4 times as many as 10 years ago.

@TSA Also, 86% of the guns in carry-on bags were loaded (!) and 34% had a round in the chamber (!!).
