There are 5 candidates in the race for mayor of Spokane. Only one is on the record saying that climate change is happening, it is caused by humans, and that he is concerned about it.

One of his opponents said "I firmly believe climate change is a scam. Provide me with undeniable proof that climate change is happening and I’ll submit. And FYI, that proof is verified by both conservatives and liberals."

Another said "Everyone says that humans cause climate change, that is just not true. We contribute to it, but there are factors outside of it. Plate tectonics, solar flares, gravitational pull from the moon."
